What We Believe
We believe that there is one true and living God. God exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The first man Adam, sinned introducing sin into the world, separating man from God, and placing all of mankind in a fallen state. Knowing that the wages of sin are death and out of an abundance of love for man, God sacrificed His only begotten son Jesus Christ to atone for our sins.
We believe that the Word became flesh through the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh and that He sacrificed himself on the cross according to the Father's purpose fulfilling His plan for the redemption of man. Jesus Christ was blameless and holy yet bore the full punishment for our sins.
We believe that Jesus died and rose defeating sin and death. After which He ascended to Heaven and sits at the Right Hand of God the Father. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Mediator. We believe that salvation is a gift and can not be earned. It is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ that we are saved. We believe that works are not a condition for salvation but rather a product of it.
Finally, we believe that all those who are saved have been marked and sealed by the Holy Spirit who lives in us, comforts us, convicts us, intercedes on our behalf, and through His power carries out the process of sanctification in our lives.
