O-Line Records was founded in April of 2003 by T.M. Tha' Messenger. The name is short for "The Offensive Line". As young Christians separate and submitted to God's will we represent God's offense in the battle for souls. O-Line Records was birthed out of a vision given by God. The vision was to create a powerhouse capable of producing strong Spirit-filled music to combat Satan's stronghold on our youth and young adults. We believe that God will position the record label to provide support and resources to those who would use their God-given talents for His purposes. The music that leaves our studio is tried and held up against the scripture. As ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ it is our obligation to teach nothing but the scripture.
We recognize the need to associate with those we are teaching; therefore, we use the art of rap. Rap gives us a unique opportunity to impart Christian doctrine and values to our youth and young adults. O-Line Records is comprised of rappers, singers, producers, engineers, ministers and other professionals. We strive to glorify God in everything that we do and our goal is to see others glorify Him too. So we gladly undertake the task put before us by our Savior Jesus Christ: "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit"(Matt. 28:19).
O-Line Record's artists spend time ministering throughout the community. What good does it do the Body of Christ if we are not following up with those we touch? The reality is it does the Body no good at all. Our ministry consists of many different facets and programs; including, the record label and our team of ministers and teachers. It is O-Line's goal to be used to stimulate Spiritual growth within the Body of Christ. Our songs are bridges to a dying world and once across we must spread life. We achieve this goal by planting seeds which God can then give increase to according to His will. We plant these seeds through our music and by training young people to use their talents to glorify God. O-Line Records attempts to be as active in the church community as possible by participating in and facilitating many church events; including, conferences and workshops. In conclusion, we are in the business of making disciples and providing resources for the "Church (Body of Christ)" and we will continue until our Savior returns.
